More great news !
Good morning everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying your Bank holiday today in the UK ! Normal day for us over here...
Awoke this morning to hear the great news about the death of a 'monster'..This will bring some comfort to everyone that has been touched by the web of horror this monster has spun ! Can we now feel safe ? l doubt it,only time will tell...
Thank you to the brave team that went in and took care of business !
Onto the card for today ....Over at Bah!Humbug!, the theme this week is 'Pleats / Ruffles'..So l have decided to go with a colour scheme of Lilac on a cream DL card.Image and sentiment are from Kanban and l have used gold mirri card for matting and the purple dots DP / pearls / and little ruffled flower are all from my stash ..simple little card, but l think its quite effective. So sorry for the dark pic, but the weather here today has been so dreary and stormy ..
wishing you all a lovely evening ..Hugs Susan x

Hi Susan a very effective card - one of those that made me go ooooooooooooh as soon as I opened your blog. Gorgeous colour - just love it.
ReplyDeleteAs to the death of a 'monster' - good news indeed, but now they have a martyr and perhaps even more will die. So scary - too many natural disasters to cope with in the world without more followers of 'God??' adding to the misery.
Take care.

Hi Susan - I hope his being killed will stop terrorism, like you say we can only hope.

ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteGood news indeed! AT LAST! But what a coincidence that this time the Americans DIDN'T tell the Pakistani authorities what they were planning until afterwards and they managed to succeed in their mission, where on previous occasions when they've given advance warning of their intended operations, he somehow managed to escape! Hmmmmmmmm ... there are a few questions needing answered on that subject I think, although sadly the focus all seems to be on whether he was killed unlawfully or should have been captured alive - SHEESH! No doubt you can guess my feelings about that debate lol! As Ann says we still need to be on our guard as he has a huge following and support network. No doubt there will be revenge attacks to come. Anyway ... will get off the soapbox ... sorry xxx
This card is absolutely fantastic! The lilac colour is stunning and your little ruffled flower is the perfect embellishment. I love this one! Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
