Cute Little Reindeers !

Hi Everyone,
The card l am showing today is a 5x5 Blue card blank.The design paper is from K and Company. This is such a quick and easy card to create. I covered the front of the card with the DP, then cut the front panel off and placed it on the inside.I added a little border and snowflake peel off from my stash.To finish l just added the little  santa die cut  and a peel off sentiment !

Traditional card

             Hi everyone,
Another christmas card from me ,but this time using more traditional elements. Its  a 6x6 white card blank.The dp is from the Raspberry Road paper stack l got free with  Quick Cards magazine (october). Which l matted onto gold mirri card. I have used another kanban topper that l got last year ( still trying to keep to the 'use it up' pledge ) .The ribbons and sentiment are from my stash.I used stickles to highlight some of the tree ornaments.

Embossing...

Morning everyone,

The card l am sharing with you all  today has a pink card base.I have cut off a strip from the front of the card and matted it with ivory ribbon (meiflower ) and used on the inside of the card. I embellished with snowflakes and pearls. On the front of the card l have used a piece of satin finish card stock and run it through a snowflakes embossing folder. Sentiment and snowman topper are from Kanban and the fluffy/ multi coloured twine/cord ( not sure what you would call it hehe) has just been tied around the card and finished with a knot. I added a bow made of the same ivory ribbon...

At last !

Afternoon everyone,
At last l am posting a card ! I am finally getting my mojo back.. The image is a golden oldie, called 'Daisy' by Sugar Nellie stamps. Its one of my favourites. I have coloured the image using water colour pencils.I used the Sage distress ink pad to distress around the image. I also added gold stickles to the little flowers . The papers, gold mirri,organza red ribbon, a 3 gems are all from my stash.The white card base is a 6x6. The gold heart will be used for writing a little sentiment.

Bouquet of flowers

Hi everyone,

The card l am sharing today is side step card .I have made a small bouquet of flowers and secured them with 'sage'satin ribbon from Meiflower Ribbons.The flowers, corners, pearl pin head are from WOC. The white butterflies are double layered and were a gift.The silver butterfly peel offs were put onto the dp and cut out then placed on the card. The tag is from a topper sheet as is the sentiment.I have used diamond stickles to add more detail.    Everything else is from my stash...

Birds and Butterflies

Hi everyone,

Thought l would share this side step card with you. I have used  a sheet of toppers and tags.I have matched the colours on the tags to some purple dp and orange card stock then used a border punch. I matted the tags and topper onto  the orange cardstock and added some purple organza and satin ribbon. The  two tone roses are from WOC. The double layered butterflies are from a very kind friend and the silver peel off butterflies are layered onto  the purple dp and cut out.

Cupcakes

Hi everyone,
I have not been around for a week  or so,  as l have had Marcos ( my son )and Sam (Gf) over from the UK  for a week. Its been lovely seeing them and catching up. Sara  even managed to fly over from Barcelona  for 5 days .It was so nice having all the children home at the same time !
The card l would like to share is a centre step card. The image is a stamp from LOTV , l have coloured the image with promarkers and applied different coloured stickles to all the cupcakes and the edges of the card. All other items and DP are from my stash.

Its about time...

Evening everyone,

Here is a House-Mouse image that l have decoupaged.I think they are so cute  enjoying their ice lolly hehe..The papers were given to me a while ago, so not sure of their origin.I have used some pretty satin ribbon with stars, green twine and some pink gems..

Sara, my daughter left this morning to go back to Barcelona. It is always lovely when she comes home for a few days.Thankfully, the flight is only around 30 mins, so we get to see her alot !

House Mouse

Afternoon everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend break ..Happy Mothers Day ! to all those celebrating today, l hope you all have a lovely, special day !
My card share today is using a  House Mouse  image, that l have decoupaged. These cute little creatures are always having fun  ! l have folded an A4 piece of card stock in half  to make a A5 base.l have used some sage green DP as a base for the image and sentiment. I have put card candi in the corners.  A few ribbons and beads  and a button on the ' Happy Birthday' sentiment, which l have put foam pads on to give a bit more dimension.. All items are from my stash !

Woof !

Evening everyone,
Its been a busy few days  ! I am looking forward to the weekend .My daughter ,Sara, is coming over on Sunday from Barcelona until Wednesday ,so it will be nice for her to have a break from her work and wonderful for us to have her home to spoil hehe. The weather over here has been fabulous this week,so l hope it continues over the weekend.
 I started a new James Pattereson book last weekend, and its so exciting, but I have not had time this week to read anymore, so l am hoping to get in the garden this weekend and enjoy my book...

The card l am showing you this evening is a 6x6 card blank. I have used some distressed brown DP and a blue DP for layering and matting.l used promarkers to change the colours of the kennel and the 'woof ' die cut.l also used a dark blue and  a white pencil for outlining. The coredinations brown card stock has been put through an embossing folder and lightly sanded afterwards. As l wanted this to have a rather male look to it,l have added 4 staplers just for decoration... All dies have foam pads to give them a 3D look and all materials are from my stash.

Feliz dia de la Madre !

Good morning everyone,
Happy Mothers day to those who are celebrating today. Here in Spain,  its Mothers Day today, and l am very lucky as l get to celebrate two mothers days  . A bit greedy l know ! l got some beautiful, sweet smelling roses from the kids .  Sara  texted ( she is in Barcelona )  and a text from Marcos who is holidaying in Thailand at the moment.We are out to lunch today,which will be lovely..a nice paella !
Weather this morning is horrible ! thundery storms and  rain..No spanish sunshine today hehe..Not complaining though ! It means some crafting in the afternoon is in order..hehe

The card l am sharing today is a 6x6 white card blank.I have used some powder blue , silky smooth DP, and the same DP in pale yellow..l love these 12x12 sheets a good friend sent me over in 5 different pastel colours..l have used  the 'flower Doily' border punch from X-Cut. The ribbons, pearls,tiny butterfly (looks like he's trying to fly away !) card candi and little flower are all from my stash..

One for the box !

Evening everybody,
The card l am sharing today is one for the box...The card is a  pale yellow card blank.I have had some Laura Ashley papers for a while now, so l dug one out and used it to matt the card front.I have cut the front at an angle and placed it on the inside to create a pocket to use for a voucher.l haven't used peel offs for a while, so decided to use some more pale yellow card with the peel offs, then cut them out and use them to  embellish the card.The sentiment is from a sheet and matted onto the yellow card,  with a few tiny silver balls.. All items used are from my stash..

Foxy !

Afternoon everyone,
Had such a busy morning...its great having a ' Dia de fiesta' but the queues in the bank this morning were horrendous ! Best part of an hour waiting to get served..I managed to keep the other appts. that l had, but it was all rush rush !
The card l am showing today is a 5x5 white card blank. The image is another from the 'Big One' cd.I have decoupaged the image..l love his little face !  l have matted the image onto some grey card stock and  then onto some green DP, all from my stash .The branch is a die from Marianne designs.I actually cut it out using an odd piece of white card, then used shabby shutters distress ink pad all over it. My good friend Barbara sent me a bag full of tiny buttons, so l have used 2  different colours to cordinate with the image ..The inside of the card has the same green DP , branch and smaller version of the image...

Quick and Simple !

Afternoon everyone,
I think the weather today over here in Mallorca, has ticked all the boxes. This morning was glorious, blue skies, sunny and warm !  We took advantage of today being a 'fiesta'  day and  we had a lovely long walk and a coffee in a little bar infront of the beach. Come lunchtime, we were having thunder, heavy rain, hailstones and a considerable drop in the temperatures ! Looking out now, as l write , we are back to blue skies with some dark clouds lurking on the horizon...Its crazy ! So all you in the UK  or else where suffering from all the heavy rains of late, and  thinking of' 'Spanish sunshine'...think again ! hehehe
The card l am showing you all today is really quick and simple...5x5 white card blank.2 sheets of the same pink , flowery paper.One for the front of the card and the other for the inside. The topper is from Kanban ( l think).I have used 3 little pearls and some pink ribbon and a little pink, material flower embellishment.. .thats it ! Everything used today is from my stash !

Whacky Wheels

Evening everyone,
I made this card using an image from the Big One cd,which l have decoupaged .The card is a 5x5 white card blank. I cut the front panel away at an angle and placed the panel on the inside.I use this shape quite a bit, it just makes a change...The red stripe DP has been matted onto the front part of the card before l cut the panel away, just makes things easier. A smaller version of the main image has been added on the inside....

April showers ...

Afternoon everyone,
The card l am sharing with you today is a 6x6 white card blank.I have used a new digi that l won  from  'Pink Gems Designs' ( see sidebar for link ).I have used promarkers to colour and pastel blue and grey chalk for the background.  l have used some lovely stripey DP to give it a spring feel.l  embossed a blue panel and using a lighter shade of blue DP, l mounted the image. A scallop nestie is used to mount the 'Little Clair' sentiment.4 little gem flowers are used to finish off . l have decorated the inside of the card,using the same stripey paper..All items used are from my stash ...

Daffodil fields

Afternoon everyone ,
Its a lovely sunny day today ! So different from the stormy days we have been experiencing .Having said that, l think the rainy days have helped the seeds l planted last month come on a treat.I have masses of little seedlings sprouting everywhere ! The problem is l can't remember the names of any of them , so l will be in for a very pleasant surprise  later on when they start to flower hehe
Talking of flowers...l want to share this 5x5 card with you. The image is from the ' The Big One' CD.I have decoupaged the pretty image .I have found that most of these images from the ' Trinitage ' section,  have been so easy to cut out ,and not at all fiddly.I have mounted the image onto some green card stock and then onto some lovely fresh, blue and white DP all from my stash ,along with 4 little pearls.The inside is also decorated using the same image ,card & paper.
