Another wonderful Mag and RAK

CraftyCharl over on the CB forum sent me this mag the other day..what a lovely,kind lady..l am so grateful,its difficult to get crafting mags over here...and taking out subscriptions is so expensive, especially when there are so many magazines to choose from....its so nice reading all the articles...Charl also sent me all the other bits in the pic too....Thank you so much Charl ! X

Here is a card that l made for Anna´s 21st birthday ( my friend Diane´s daughter)...She celebrated it over here, with some friends who also flew over...her mum and Dad stayed in Scotland. Apparently, Anna told them there was no room at THEIR apartment LOL....clever girl our "wee Anna"... BTW..l am learning scottish !...Diane, my Glaswegian friend,is bringing me over a "scottish Phrase Book".. is there such a thing ?? ...a group of Diane's friends are all coming for a few days next month,so we are all going out for the evening!.Now that sounds like fun,l hear you say!...and its going to be fab !..but,there is going to be 6 Scottish lassies from different parts of Scotland ! and me ? well, l am a Londoner! so its going to be a highly entertaining evening!....My first scottish phrase.."l´m a wee bit Crabbit" ?? LOL...but l´m not !!! l swear! LOL

Hi......

sorry l have not updated for a few days...lots going on at the moment..we are quite busy at work which is good, just need people to pay up faster LOL... sara had some good news,she has been accepted at the Hyatt hotel for the summer,so she is over the moon! l am very happy for her,but l miss her so much...but if she is happy,thats all l want...it gives me a bit more time to save for another visit across the Pond,as we say hehe.... Yesterday,l had a bead party for amanda and her friends,they had a good time making bracelets and stuff,and l made a strawberry and cream sponge cake too...here are a few pics....

Happy Easter everyone !!

Wishing all of you a very Happy Easter ! l got a beautiful ATC and RAk from "sparklingblackrose" on the CB forum !that was so kind of her and totally unexpected,l have posted a pic of it all under "lovely surprises " label... well, this morning picked up Sam(Marcos´s GF)at the airport she´s here till monday,which is nice..the weather been drizzling all day,hope tomorrow is better.Sam is bringing over the Flower Fairy CD trio,that l ordered from create and craft a few weeks ago,l had it sent to her in the UK, so l could save on the international P&P..hehe..so l look forward to playing with the CD´s over the weekend...havent had time to craft this week,nor have l felt like it.So l am hoping these CD´s will get me started....Amanda, did very good at school this term,she had a good school report,so we are very pleased...she deserves a treat ! Will update again soon ...take care everyone..sending you all hugs X

So excited....

Evening everyone, l just found out that l am one of Max´s Spring Madness candy winners!..l am so excited ! it has made my day..l have been under alot of stress lately with work matters, and not been able to think about much else...l got those lovely awards the other day,so l feel so cheered up!.. We have had a sunny weekend...YAY!...its been a lousy week for my friends who went home last friday,they never saw the sun for the week that they were here...l have been quite busy this weekend,l finished all my easter preparations,and gave out pressies to friends..sorted the garden out too after the bad weather,l have lost alot of plants,they got waterlogged..after all that hard work l put in,oh well ! Today, we went to the Marina, and sat on the terrace in the sun and had a glass of wine..we had lunch out at the "El Ancla" restaurant which is in front of the beach.Leo,Ana and their family have been friends of ours since their kids and ours were small,so we still go their often...we had prawns done in garlic,and grilled squid..delicious! blackcurrant cheescake to follow...yes,l know,l am suppose to be on a diet! but hey! it is sunday!! sweet dreams everyone X

Just popping on to say Hi !... Pouring of rain again today...its actually not stopped.Been to the office this morning,saw my sister for a coffee and came home to get lunch...l should be making a few cards,but l have been looking at the blogs l follow..you lot are really talented !..going to have a relaxing evening tonight and watch American Idol..going to make a cup of tea and have a few biscuits too...anyone want to join me ? ...Tea for Two ! living in the sun !..or, maybe not ....LOL

Hello all, Yet another rainy,miserable day,and damn chilly too.l have put all the heating back on!..its been like this since Saturday...my poor friends arrived on Saturday too and they have not seen the sun.The problem is she loves to craft,so she could come here to mine and craft away all day..BUT, being as she is here with her hubby...its a bit difficult for her to dump him lol! Sara has been in LA for spring break...they had a wonderful time in Long Beach..some friends have a boat and they all went sailing then went to their house for a BBQ in the evening..she was going to "six flags" on Sunday..she is certainly living the dream !Amanda is now finishing off exams...so far so good !l was worried as l took her out of school for 2 weeks to go to the states in January,but it didn´t do her studies any harm,thank god !..Marcos is thinking of changing his job,he earns a lot of money,but is not happy..so quite a bit going on at home at the moment...
