Happy Halloween

Afternoon everyone, Happy Halloween to all those that enjoy these festivities !l must say l do decorate all the house and the garden. Tonight ,we are out for dinner in a nice restaurant. One of the owner's goes to town with the decorations and its normally a fun evening... A quick post today as l wanted to show another autumn themed card. l am so pleased that there have been alot of autumn/fall challenges as l love these colours and the autumn season .It always conjures up the idea of crunching through fallen leaves and the start to cosy evenings by the fire sipping hot chocolate and thinking about the wonderful start to the festive season ahead ! Unfortunately, l am sitting here now in a strappy top, bare feet and the sun is streaming through the windows!! Its been a very hot, long summer and it is still not letting up !! phew, l can't wait for a change hehehe....This card was made using all my left over autumn bits and pieces from my stash.I am entering this card into the challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges The theme over there is ' Leaves '..Over at Charisma Cardz, their theme this week is 'Anything Goes'...CYDA ,have the theme of 'Autumn' ..Quirky Crafts , want to see 'Autumn Leaves'.. Autumn colours

Evening everyone, Just a quick post from me.I hope everyone is well and enjoying their evening.The card here was made using a 5x5 card blank.The DP's are from my stash.The wooden embellishment was part of a set from a poundland shop.l have also used gold stickles,gold mirri card, the brown ribbon and button are from my stash. I am entering this into the folllowing challenges.. C.R.A.F.T a colour challenge this week 'Colours Savannah',this is my 2nd entry..Over at Crafty creations, they would like to see 'Leaves & Autumn Palette'.. Back from the UK !

Afternoon everyone, We had a fabulous time in the UK.It was lovely that we got to spend alot of quality time with my son ( Marcos ) and his GF ( Sam ) and of course little Bella.She is just as gorgeous as the last time l saw her,and still in charge !hehe..The weather was good ,so we could walk everywhere.We did alot of shopping mainly clothes and some early christmas shopping !We stayed right in the centre of Birmingham and our apartment was gorgeous.So all in all we had a great trip ! The card l am showing today is a Halloween Card..the witch image is from Mo Manning , l have coloured her using watercolour pencils. The design papers are a 'freebie' from Donna at Bearly Mine Designs..l had some purple card stock so used that too for layering .The card is a white 5x5,ribbon,pumpkin,bats and ghosts are from my stash.The spider stamp l got from Michaels for a dollar during one of my trips to SD.Gold stickles glue has been applied to highlight areas..l am going to enter this card into the following challenges..Charisma Cardz 'Anything Goes'..Allsorts want to see ' Halloween'..C.R.A.F.T They have a colour challenge this week ' Colour Savannah'..CYDA have the theme 'Halloween Colours'..Creative Inspirations they want to see 'Purple,Black & Orange'..Stamptacular Also have a colour theme 'Black,Purple,Orange & Scary'..ABC Challenges have 'B-for-Boo' as their theme.. wishing you all a nice evening ! Lets eat cake !

Hi all, Hope you are all having a good weekend ! We took Sara back to the airport this morning , we had a lovely three days,but it did pass very quickly..It wont be long till l see her again,in person and not just on skype ! We are going to Birmingham on thursday till tuesday, to see my son ,his GF and little bella ! They have just bought a new house, so we are all going to see it,sara is flying over too, so it will be really nice ! Time for a bit of christmas shopping too !! My card theme today is one that delights me hehe..cakes ! well, l love the two doggies too, but you get my drift... Most of these items used on this card are from my craft stash. l have decoupaged the table and the brown dog.The bow is made from seam binding. The challenge this week over at Bah!Humbug! is 'Christmas Food'...Over at Polka Doodles their theme this time is 'Ribbon and Bows'...ABC Christmas Challenge, want to see 'UnUsed Stash' All these items are from last years stash !.. O little town of Bethlehem

Evening everyone, Its a national holiday over here in Spain,the 'Dia del Pilar' so my family and my sister's family got together along with some english friends that are here on holiday..we had a lovely paella for lunch at a very nice restaurant along the seafront ! What made it nice and special was that Sara ( my daughter ) flew over from Barcelona this morning, she is here till saturday.Its so lovely to have her home for a few days..to spoil her ! hehe This card l am showing today was made using materials from my prize from 'Little Claire', See side bar for link. l coloured the the image with watercolour pencils.l used the chunky glitter & some gold and diamond stickles glue. The DP is from my stash as is the ribbon and little blue pearls. Ink it up ink pad was used for stamping the image and distressing the edges.The script was from my stash.The inside has some more of the DP and a sentiment from Little Claire.l want to enter this card into the following challenges..Bah!Humbug!,the theme is 'Glitz and Glitter'..Little Claire monthly challenge, have the theme of 'Christmas'..Over at Sparkles Forum Christmas challenge,the theme this month is 'Christmas Songs', l thought 'O little town of Bethlehem' would be fitting.. The witching hour !

Hi everyone, Hope you all had a nice weekend.Weather seemed to cool down a bit on saturday, but today the temperatures are soaring again and tomorrow even hotter ! We have had a very long, hot summer ! So it would be so nice if it cooled down once and for all so it begins to feel like Autumn...l am Starting to get the halloween decorations out this week. l love halloween ,and l am really enjoying making cards and treat bags etc..The card l am showing today is a 8x8 card, the DP was a freebie and l wished l could remember the blog that it came from last year, so l could give it a mention if anyone knows,please let me know..Basic black paper for matting.Purple stazon ink pad for distressing the edges.Lavender and gold stickles.Promarkers, water colour pencils and fiskars glitter and metalic pens were used colouring these two cute images from Lyn at Dragonsmoore ( also see side bar for Link ) .Both these images were Freebies offered by Lyn,so please pop over to her place and see what Lyn has been up to ! The rest of the embellishments are from my stash ! l would like to enter this card into the following challenges..Sparkles Forum Challenge, their theme is 'Halloween'...Over at Fussy and Fancy they have 'Halloween or Fall' as their theme..Quirky Crafts challenge, want to see 'Something Spooky'..OSAAT have 'Anything Goes' as the theme this week.. Let it Snow !

Afternoon everyone, Hope the weekend is going well for you all ! l was really pleased today when l checked on little Claire's challenge blog to find l had made top 3 ! Todays card is a LOTV stamp.l have coloured the image using my watercolour pencils and added lots of diamond, holly and red stickles glue , which l got from 'little claire' ( see side bar for link ).The clear stones are from my stash as is the white /silver glitter ribbon. l have used a scalloped nesti to mount the Little Claire sentiment..The pink frame was kindly sent to me from my lovely friend Barbara...l am entering this card into the following challenges ..Bah!Humbug! , the theme this week is 'Glitz and Glitter'..C.R.A.F.T, they would like to see ' Bright Colours '..Over at Creative Inspirations, the theme there is 'friendship' l thought the three little friends all working together covered their criteria..Over at Little Claire, they have the theme of 'Christmas' for their new monthly challenge..The theme over at LOTV is 'Let it Snow'..Sparkles Forum Challenge, wants to see ' something that sparkles '...Over at Stamp,Scrap & Doodles, they want to see 'Something Round ' ...At One Stop craft, its 'Anything Goes' ....Well , thats all for today,enjoy your evening everyone..Hugs Susan xxx
