Sunday Afternoon...

Hi everyone, Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, we went to the beach this morning, we always go out of town and its so peaceful! just right for reading a good book , and enjoying the warm,summer breeze coming in off the sea...Bliss ! l am not a sun worshipper, but, l do enjoy the beach for the odd couple of hours early morning or late afternoon...We had lunch in the garden and l have continued reading my James patterson book, Cross Country, l can't seem to put it down..l love all his books, he always seems to captivate the reader ! anyway, before l return to my book, l wanted to upload this .... l had a lovely time creating this card...l happen to love the colours Blue and Green and over at C.R.A.F.T , the theme this week is using those colours... Also, over at OSAAT, the theme this week is 'Use something new' ..Everything about this card is new ! The image and background papers, ribbons too, so l am entering this card in for their challenge too. Hugs susan x

Morning Everyone, l am running late this week as l was in Palma yesterday for most of the day....I had alot of fun joining in the fun over at the CRAFT ( See side bar )blog hop, to celebrate their 1st blog anniversary ! Bah ! Humbug !

Morning everyone ! This weeks challenge theme over at Bah! Humbug ! , is Ribbon so l have made this quite simple card, using up the last bit of my favourite christmas ribbon that l got whilst on holiday last year in San Diego. l love ' Michaels ' its a fab store for crafting and l always pick up some fab crafting bargains...The ribbon was only .99$ for 3 mts !! wished l had got more now...The little embellishment is actually made of wood.. Good morning all

l think l have out done myself ! hehe... This week l have managed not only to update my blog two days on the trot !l have managed to make quite a few projects too, so l am very pleased ! l haven´t been over to ' Magical crafts ' challenge blog for ages ! The theme for this fortnightly challenge is 'Black, White and one other colour ' So l thought l would enter this card...l have made a jacket for the card using the B+W polka dot backing paper,(sorry that it looks a 'browny' colour in the pic, its the sun through the blind ) and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash ! Another sketch Challenge !

Hi everyone, Over at C.R.A.F.T, they have a sketch to follow.As l so enjoyed the sketch a few weeks back, l was looking forward to following this one too. Over the weekend, sitting in the garden in the warm sunshine, l made this card..l took the card at an angle as it's so difficult to take pics of mirri card without having a reflection.. Hugs susan x

Afternoon Everyone !

Had such a lovely weekend ! The weather was sunny and warm....Saturday the girls (Sara and Amanda) and l went for our saturday morning ' Tradition '. Around 11 we head into town and have a coffee and crusty, baguette's in one of the little coffee places along the beach road..Its so lovely to just chill out and chat in the sunshine..Then it was back home to the housework and school work etc..Sunday , we had a BBQ lunch in the garden, l made 'Margaritas' with lots of ice...it was just the four of us, and it was so relaxing..later, l painted some images and made some cards on the patio...and then cut out some decoupage, after reading that over at OSSAT , the challenge this week is ' Anything but a card ', so this is what l am entering ...this topper for the box has been decoupaged with 6 layers..no easy feat after 2 'Margaritas ' hehehe... Hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to get some crafting done too ! Hugs susan X

Hi everyone, Over at Bah!Humbug!, their challenge this week is 'Punched Borders'..l fancied going all gold this week, and l had this lovely backing paper sent to me in RAK ..the border punch is fiskars and corner punch X Cut, cream card stock,Gold mirri card and embellishments & ribbon are all out of my stash... Morning all !

So sorry not to have updated since last week ! l can´t believe it...Its been hectic, with family stuff going on..marcos and Sam were over for the weekend , to celebrate his birthday, it was so lovely seeing them both and we had a nice time !The airport here in Palma reopened Sunday morning which was good, as their returning flight to England was in the evening. l have alot of work to do this week,accounts stuff mainly, but its taking up alot of time, especially with family tax returns etc to do this month . Still decorating at home too, bit by bit..Sara has her final exams for Uni, she graduates next month. Amanda has her school exams ,tense time for the girls at the moment...... Not done too much crafting ....but have managed to make a card for OSAAT (or see side bar )...The theme this week is ' Going Dotty ' They still have a great sale on through this month , see my side bar for details.... This weeks challenge over at Creative Inspirations has the theme of 'Fairies' , so l thought this also covered their criteria too... Have a nice morning everyone, sending you big hugs ! Susan xxxx

Good Morning Everyone !

Hi all, What terrible weather we are having at the moment ! Its not stopped raining for 3 days. we have had terrible flooding and road closures..hopefully things will start to improve soon. Marcos ( my son ) and Sam ( his GF ) are flying over tomorrow from Birmingham. They are coming till sunday night as its his birthday weekend.l am now worried about this 'volcano' problem, l do hope there flight can leave in the morning , as we are so looking forward to seeing them ! Its been a busy week for me so far.We have been decorating etc at home and busy with work too, so l have not had alot of time for much else...However, l have managed to make this little card, Sorry the pic is a bit dark, the weather is so dreary at the moment...Over at C.R.A.F.T the theme this week is a 'shaped' card.. Over at OSAAT the theme this week is 'children' plus, they also have a fab sale going on during the whole of this month..see my sidebar for details..fabulous creations by very talented artists, why not pop over and take a look... Bah!Humbug!

Morning ladies, Bah!Humbug! have a theme this week of 'Snowflakes'..There´s still time to enter, you have untill noon tomorrow! l had some lovely snowflake ribbon and of course out came my trusted snowflake corner punch ! The stamped Magnolia image is coloured in with my water colour pencils..Its such a dreary and wet day here today, not stopped pouring for nearly 3 days ! so the pic is a bit dark..This card is my favourite to date !
