Afternoon everyone,

Its got very chilly again, and we have a sprinkling of snow on the mountains ! I took a pic this morning from the car , not a good pic , sorry ! we often get snow in the winter months, but it never lasts very long and doesn't cause any problems as its mainly on the mountains and higher ground.We are in for more on Thursday..I love it !

The card l am sharing today, has another digi from Lyn (spider) her digi store can be found at Dragonsmoore, I have used this image before on a halloween card,so its very versatile and was a freebie.I have coloured it with promarkers and pencils. I have added some stickles glitter glue,to give it a fun feel ! The butterflies are recycled and I have applied glue and different coloured Cosmic Glitters. l have added some little flowers and gems..The satin ribbon and papers are all from my stash.Its a large 8x8 card ....l am entering this card into the following challenges..

Evening everyone, l have had some great news ! Firstly, l was lucky enough to have been drawn for a 'Tilda' stamp from Bev Rochester's blog...Then , l made top three on the Prairie Fairy challenge, and won a digi from their store...and this afternoon l found out that l got 3rd place & GD spot over at Quirky Crafts challenge blog.. all links to these blogs can be found on my sidebar...l am so pleased !
Complete change in the weather here on the island..we have had some snow on the mountains at 700 mtr's and tonight its forecast for 400 mtrs..its been very cold,dark and windy today, looks like its in for the next few days.l love this type of weather, and we have had lots of nice warm days for several months,so a change was on the cards at some point..
The card l am sharing today, is for a 25th wedding anniversary.l have made an easel card and used silver mirri, pearls, silver beads and cut some hearts out. The little verse was out of a booklet of vellums that someone had sent me ages ago. l tore the edges and attached using the bead and pearl to cover the glue. The pretty paper was one l have had for a while. l also added a couple of little rings and a senitment 'To the one l love'..l am entering this card into the following challenges.... Afternoon Everyone !

Its a beautiful day here in Mallorca.As soon as I have finished this post I am going to have a lovely walk along the coast road and enjoy the afternoon sunshine.

The card I am sharing today,is a 5x5 base card in pastel pink and a piece of white card stock to matt the paper..I have had the bit of lace and velvet ribbon, in my stash for ages, so thought I would add it to this card.I have decoupaged the image with 1 layer and applied a row of pearls to the hat.The paper and roses are from my stash. l would like to enter this card into the following challenges...

I made this card for my nephew .He will be 25 on tuesday.he loves fast cars, so l thought this would be a good choice. l printed out a sheet of images from 'The Big One' CD the category was ' Pile Up '. I have used all the images. The DP was a gift from a friend..The front image has been decoupaged using 3 layers on the bottom part, then I mounted it onto thick mirri board ( crushed ice ).Inside the card l have mounted the sentiment and the smaller decoupaged image onto the same mirri board. Hi everyone, Hope you are all enjoying the start of a new year. Its christmas day here ! No, I haven't gone mad ...well,not yet anyway hehe Its the 'The three Kings day ' here in Spain, rather like our Christmas Day. So we are still enjoying christmas festivites.l still have all the decorations and tree up ! They shall come down ( grudgingly) this weekend. Last night was the 3 kings parade and after the kiddies get their pressy's.When the children were younger we use to have all the main presents on Christmas Day and then smaller things were all wrapped and placed in a box for each of them,which were later delivered to the house by a horse drawn cart and the Kings helpers...very magical l can tell you ! here are a few pics from the parade last night...Wishing you all a lovely evening ! Evening Everyone, We got back from Barcelona last night.We had a 4 day shopping trip in this marvelous city.The christmas lights were amazing. My daughter, Sara,who works at the W hotel there manage to get the days off too,so it was a fabulous trip.She also has 10 days off now for christmas so we all flew back together last night.Marcos ,my son who lives in Birmingham is flying over on christmas eve,so we will all be together. A huge blessing ! l will be visiting you all over the next few days for a catch up ! Hugs Susan X

Afternoon everyone Its been a busy week ! Sara has been over from Barcelona.Its been lovely having her home, she goes back on Monday,l will miss her.We are going over to Barcelona for a long weekend on the 16th,so get to see her again soon and plenty of shopping will be on the agenda too !Amanda had her 18th yesterday, she had a wonderful day and so did we all !... Good morning everyone from a very rainy Mallorca.Spain ! The last few days the weather has turned and we are actually on 'flood alert ' its not stopped raining. Very strong winds last night caused havoc too..l am not complaining hehe as its been a very hot, long summer so this is a welcome change ! Hi everyone, The card l am sharing is a 6x6 white card blank.The image is from 'Mo Manning' ( please see side bar for link )l have coloured this lovely digi with watercolour pencils and used holographic mirri card ( for extra sparkle ) green glitter card and purple paper for layering and matting. El dia de todos los Santos !

Afternoon everyone, We had a great time last night, it was alot of fun ! Today, is a National holiday here in Spain.Its 'El dia de todos los Santos ' its the same as ' rememberence Sunday' and always falls on the 1st of November. Its a beautiful, warm day here and l had a 'power walk' ( trying to get off last nights huge meal at the restaurant ! ) this morning, l really enjoyed it ! l have made a christmas card this afternoon using some heart shaped dies and peel offs, that my friend Barbara kindly sent me. l have also used some mulberry paper, and 2 WOC roses, highlighted with gold stickles. Afternoon everyone, Happy Halloween to all those that enjoy these festivities !l must say l do decorate all the house and the garden. Tonight ,we are out for dinner in a nice restaurant. One of the owner's goes to town with the decorations and its normally a fun evening... A quick post today as l wanted to show another autumn themed card. l am so pleased that there have been alot of autumn/fall challenges as l love these colours and the autumn season .It always conjures up the idea of crunching through fallen leaves and the start to cosy evenings by the fire sipping hot chocolate and thinking about the wonderful start to the festive season ahead ! Unfortunately, l am sitting here now in a strappy top, bare feet and the sun is streaming through the windows!! Back from the UK !

Afternoon everyone, We had a fabulous time in the UK.It was lovely that we got to spend alot of quality time with my son ( Marcos ) and his GF ( Sam ) and of course little Bella.She is just as gorgeous as the last time l saw her,and still in charge !hehe..The weather was good ,so we could walk everywhere.We did alot of shopping mainly clothes and some early christmas shopping !We stayed right in the centre of Birmingham and our apartment was gorgeous.So all in all we had a great trip ! The card l am showing today is a Halloween Card..the witch image is from Mo Manning , l have coloured her using watercolour pencils. Hi all, Hope you are all having a good weekend ! We took Sara back to the airport this morning , we had a lovely three days,but it did pass very quickly..It wont be long till l see her again,in person and not just on skype ! We are going to Birmingham on thursday till tuesday, to see my son ,his GF and little bella ! They have just bought a new house, so we are all going to see it,sara is flying over too, so it will be really nice ! Time for a bit of christmas shopping too !! My card theme today is one that delights me hehe..cakes ! well, l love the two doggies too, but you get my drift... Most of these items used on this card are from my craft stash. l have decoupaged the table and the brown dog.The bow is made from seam binding. O little town of Bethlehem

Evening everyone, Its a national holiday over here in Spain,the 'Dia del Pilar' so my family and my sister's family got together along with some english friends that are here on holiday..we had a lovely paella for lunch at a very nice restaurant along the seafront ! What made it nice and special was that Sara ( my daughter ) flew over from Barcelona this morning, she is here till saturday.Its so lovely to have her home for a few days..to spoil her ! hehe This card l am showing today was made using materials from my prize from 'Little Claire', See side bar for link. l coloured the the image with watercolour pencils.l used the chunky glitter & some gold and diamond stickles glue. The DP is from my stash as is the ribbon and little blue pearls. Ink it up ink pad was used for stamping the image and distressing the edges.The script was from my stash.The inside has some more of the DP and a sentiment from Little Claire.l want to enter this card into the following challenges..Bah!Humbug!,the theme is 'Glitz and Glitter'..Little Claire monthly challenge, have the theme of 'Christmas'..Over at Sparkles Forum Christmas challenge,the theme this month is 'Christmas Songs', l thought 'O little town of Bethlehem' would be fitting.. Hi everyone, Hope you all had a nice weekend.Weather seemed to cool down a bit on saturday, but today the temperatures are soaring again and tomorrow even hotter ! We have had a very long, hot summer ! So it would be so nice if it cooled down once and for all so it begins to feel like Autumn...l am Starting to get the halloween decorations out this week. l love halloween ,and l am really enjoying making cards and treat bags etc..The card l am showing today is a 8x8 card, the DP was a freebie and l wished l could remember the blog that it came from last year, so l could give it a mention if anyone knows,please let me know..Basic black paper for matting.Purple stazon ink pad for distressing the edges.Lavender and gold stickles.Promarkers, water colour pencils and fiskars glitter and metalic pens were used colouring these two cute images from Lyn at Dragonsmoore ( also see side bar for Link ) .Both these images were Freebies offered by Lyn,so please pop over to her place and see what Lyn has been up to ! Morning all, l am in need of some help...it appears l can leave comments on some blogs and not on others ! it asks me to choose a 'profile' to be able to leave the comment.From the list available,l have tried 'google account' as nothing else is valid, it then redirects for me to sign in, which l do ( again and again ) and then redirects me back to the comment box, and l still can't post !! and the whole procedure starts again .Can anyone help me out ? its so frustrating ! l looked at 'blogger help ' and it seems that alot of people have had this problem too.. l have been a terrible blogger of late. All those good intentions l had at the beginning of the year have somehow gone by the wayside.l have had a very busy summer so far, and l have just returned from Barcelona. Had a fab time there and thoroughly enjoyed soaking up all the atmosphere etc..Sara my daughter is now working there , so it was a busy week looking for a flatshare. She found one that is really nice, very clean and modern.More importantly, its a safe building ! We have more family coming over for the whole month of August, so its going to be hectic ! l am going to be visiting you all during the following week and seeing what you have all been up to ... Hi everyone ! Always seems that l am rushing around...l can't remember the last time l sat down and started and finished a card in one go ! l have had family over from the UK.Also, helping Amanda with revision for her finals..results are through this afternoon ! Sara has her visa application being processed now for the US,so we have been searching the lists for a flat share in San Diego and trying to set up appointments for next month...But ! l have managed to complete my card for the Kinetic theme over at the Bah!Humbug! christmas card challenge...l have used a 12x12 sheet of K&Co Swell Noel . l love this stack of beautiful design papers..the silver glitter and red ribbon are from my stash... wishing you all a lovely morning !

Evening everyone, This particular card is made for my nephew/Godson..He is entering into a 'Mr Muscle' competition here in Mallorca. There will be about a 1000 people attending and is a very important event ! Its difficult enough finding images and DP's for this type of sport. So l roped in a few CB forum friends and after alot of searching was sent these papers and image sheets. l have used them all LOL ! Awoke this morning to hear the great news about the death of a 'monster'..This will bring some comfort to everyone that has been touched by the web of horror this monster has spun ! Having a fabulous day watching all the wonderful festivities of the Royal wedding ..What a beautiful wedding it was too ! She looked stunning and so did William. They looked so inlove and Happy...It was truly a Fairytale wedding..l am still enjoying all the coverage and interviews etc...l wish them lots of luck and thank God lessons have been learnt by the royal family ! Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter ? The weather over here in Mallorca certainly was a let down for the poor tourists ! We have had a very dreary,grey skied easter break. We didnt have any plans for this easter, so we were no bothered too much by the down turn of the weather.Infact, l managed to get quite a few cards completed, so it was a bonus. Its been a while since l updated...had a few health issues going on and then to top it all last friday had to go to hospital to have a wisdom tooth out..l was in agony ! but l do feel so much better now. l have been making a few cards and l will be getting back into the challenges and visiting you all soon.. Morning everyone, Just an update..... Tomorrow Amanda and l are flying off to Barcelona to see the Justin Bieber Concert in the evening ! Yes , l know l am a bit of an ' old teenybopper ' heheh but l thoroughly enjoyed his first concert in Birmingham Uk last month, it was Amazing !It was so great to see so many youngsters and their families having a wonderful time altogether..12.000 people and NO VIOLENCE ! Priceless !!! Anyway ... The fantastic news is....Amanda has been notified that she has won a ' Meet and Greet ' with him..l rang her this morning at school and told her the news...talk about Hysteria !!! hehehe she was crying !..l am delighted for her...There's only one problem l can forsee..because she booked and paid for my ticket this time and its in the 'standing zone '..she just may now be given a fab seat in the VIP zone !!!! and me ? well, looks like l will be swaying around with all the youngsters...Good job l know all the words to the songs...hehehe Baby,Baby , Baby oh....hehehe See you all on thursday when we fly back ..Happy crafting everyone ! Hope all the british mum's had a lovely Mothers Day yesterday ! l had a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers and a gorgeous silver bracelet with MUM charms and 2 hearts from amanda as a special something ..bless her X . We also had a nice meal out too. l was very lucky as Marcos ( my son ) flew over from the UK for a few days , so it was the icing on the cake.. l finished off a large card today for the challenge over at Mo's DP Challenge , they want to see 'Buttons and Bows' l have used an image from Mo's ' Bunches ' l just love her !l have coloured her with my watercolour pencils & chalks for the background,backing papers are from Making Memories 'Spring Fling'Silver mirri card for matting, buttons and ribbon from my stash.EK sucess flower punch for the 2 layered flower. Hi everyone, l am finally getting back into crafting again.Having lots of ideas too, which is a blessing.l have just been making the cards ,as and when l need them.Its certainly not been as much fun as having a creative idea, and getting stuck in and watching it unfold. Weather beautiful here so l have been doing a lot of walking .The season is starting to get underway and its nice to see all the little bars, restaurants & hotels open. So ,onto the card that l am entering this week into the challenge over at Bah!Humbug! , they would like to see 'christmas Trees'..The little tree tutorial can be found over at Ann 's blog from the Bah!Humbug! DT.She kindly gave us the ' how to 'last year and l so loved making these little tree's and used them often on last years christmas cards..The papers and little embellishments are from my stash and so is the ribbon.Used chalks to colour the circular frame. Hi everyone, So sorry for not updating till now.. We had a fab time in the UK, although it was basically for one day. The Justin Bieber concert in Birmingham was fantastic ! So were the support acts.My son Marcos got the day off and stayed with us till we went to the concert, l was so pleased. We arrived Thursday evening and had all day Friday. We left at 6.30am on Saturday to travel home. l just haven't felt like crafting since coming back, it always seems to happen when l go away somewhere.l am starting to get back into it,slowly, and hope this week to start back with the blog challenges.. l will be visiting your blogs to see what you have all been up to in the next few days .. wishing you all a lovely afternoon ! Tonight, we have been packing some things as we are off tomorrow to the UK..We have tickets for the Justin Bieber concert in Birmingham on Friday night..Amanda is so excited !!!the long wait is finally coming to an end hehehe..l must admit, l am also really looking forward to it too hehe..l can only imagine the noise level at the concert will be deafening !! Sky TV are covering the big ' Game ' live over in the States..l doubt whether l will be able to see it through as its supposedly going to be on till around 5am....l must say the build up is all very exciting ! l do actually understand the game, which might surprise a few hehe..l saw a game while over in California, and alot of US marines, kindly explained the 'Rules'.. Good morning everyone, What a beautiful morning it is here ! Clear blue skies, sunny and warm ! Amanda and l will be off a bit later on for our ' Saturday Morning Tradition ' . l look forward to sharing these special moments..coffee , roast beef baguettes and girly chats..priceless ! l am very luck that my 17 year old still enjoys spending time with me..She has even bought me a ticket, to go with her, and my 16 year old niece, to Justin Beibers' concert in barcelona in April ! Not got too much on today,l may get in the garden and make a start on clearing up some of the winter mess ! l am pleased that l am getting around to visiting all your lovely blogs, its a promise l made myself at christmas, to spend more time updating my blog etc..so far so good ! l enjoyed making this card. Cold and very windy here today.There is even snow half way down the mountains ! Total contrast from the last few weeks, but we knew it was too good to be true, it was more like spring than January ! Last nights Hostage Drama on Tv was very exciting,looking forward to seeing the last episode next week..l have a nice steak pie and roast potatoes cooking away in the oven for lunch , so l thought l would catch up a bit in Blogland ! Here is the card that l am entering into the following challenges...Stampin' B's the theme there is ' use any sort of banner ', so l thought the little bow banner fitted that !..Over at Cute Card Thursday ,they have a recipe challenge '1,2,3, of anything ', so l thought that 2 hearts, 3 bows, 1, patterned A4 card fits that criteria.At My Time To Craft , the theme is 'Spots and Dots', l think the swiss dots on the hearts fit in well... Most of the items used on this card have come from the Kanban range of products..'Ink it up ' stamp pad (chocolate Brown)..cuttlebug ( swiss dots folder)Bow banner & Pearls from my stash. Just a quick post from me... Its been a busy week,but l have got a few projects underway. l have managed to get over to a lot of you and leave comments and catch up on your lovely blogs,and all your news. l would like to wish you all good luck with all your challenges ! Watching Jamie Oliver and his 30 min meals.l bought the cookbook, and its great ! but l love to watch him prepare the recipes. Later this evening we have the second episode of the new Hostage Drama, l am really enjoying this..American idol is also starting tonight, so l am hoping l can watch it on +1, as both shows are at the same time..What a dilema ! hehe Hope you all have a lovely evening whatever you will get up to ! This week over at Bah!Humbug!, the theme for the challenge is 'Use Stencils'..This very simple card was made using a 'presents ' stencil and shaded in with chalk.l have done a little embellishing with some peel offs and finished it off with a silver ribbon bow. The corner punch is from X cut..Amanda liked the card for its simplicity, but l must admit l am glad that the 'Stencil ' challenge is out the way ! hehe...Still, its one for the box, and not everyone likes the same style, so it will find a home in December ! Hi everyone ! What a beautiful morning we are having here in Mallorca ! Sun, blue skies & light breeze! Almost seems like spring, well today at least hehe..Looks like rain is on its way for the weekend, just when our town has its ' fiestas' but thats for another post... Over at Creative Inspirations the theme this week is 'Photo Inspiration'..Also over at Top Tip Tuesday , the theme is ' Anything goes '.... so l thought this little simple card fits the criterias..l have used an aperture card, with a sheet of acetate ( l think l have just managed to take out the glare from the photo , of the acetate ).The doggy's little bowl l have attached to the outside of the acetate using a foam pad to make it pop, same as the other embellishments !Other items are from RAKs from my lovely 'Craft Beautiful Forum 'friends. Ribbon is from my stash, and l bought it from 'Muller' here in Mallorca. Hugs susan x

What a disgrace ! l do have an excuse though..l am having to work with my old PC, and its not behaving well LOL..Hopefully , l will get the laptop back soon.. We had a great christmas in Andorra, and just as soon as l can l will be uploading pics of our holiday ! Well, l have noticed that Bah!Humbug! have started the year with their first challenge, the theme is ' Holly-fairies ' so what better way to start my first post off, than showing this delightful digi from ' MO designs ' ( see side bar ). Base card is from Kanban and is embossed..Image coloured with Fiskar's Metalic pens and also watercolour pencils..Ribbon , stars and little beads from my stash..DP was from a rak..also used gold mirri card .. Good morning everyone, We finally made it to the uk on the Monday the 6th, we had to fly into Manchester airport then we booked a coach to take us down to Birmingham,3 and half hours.What a weekend we had trying to reschedule our cancelled flight on Saturday the 4th.We were so upset when we heard that the spanish airtraffic controllers had just all walked out ! We had heard nothing at this end, untill the spanish news informed everyone on the friday evening..We had all our cases packed and ready to leave the following morning, so we started to panic thinking we may be effected too..and we were right ! the follwing day all hell broke loose at all the spanish airports as it was a another massive walk out.. But, at least we got away monday.. We arrived back from the Uk yesterday afternoon.We had a lovely time seeing Marcos and Sam.Little Bella,their puppy is a sweetheart ! They were working whilst we were there, so Amanda and l had a wonderful girly few days shopping , shopping and more shopping hehe!We also visited the 'German christmas market' thats held in Bimingham every year.It was so pretty and we picked up a few glass tree ornaments. It was very cold, but we loved it !It certainly didn't deter us LOL...Didn't get to visit any craft shops,as was too busy getting christmas pressy's for everyone and checking out M&S and BHS..we don't have those stores here...l will be visiting your blogs very soon to see what you have all been doing..Today we are out to lunch with my sister and family for a catch up ! l am off tomorrow to brave the artic weather of the UK ! l will be visitng my son and his GF in the Birmingham area.They have recently got a beautiful little puppy named 'Bella' so l am so looking forward to meeting her and looking after her for the week ! No crafting for me, but l do hope to visit a few craft shops and have a lovely time 'touching' the goodies,( and buying! hehee) something that when ordering on the websites is impossible, and really takes the fun out of craft shopping. Hi everyone, Hope you had a nice weekend ! l would have liked a bit more time to craft, but family life takes priority.Amanda has tons of exams these coming weeks so gave her a helping hand with revision..Its her birthday on Wednesday, she will be 17, how time flies .....She wants to go to see Justin Beiber the pop star, in concert. He will be appearing in Birmingham next march, his first UK tour dates, ( apparently ).She has pleaded with me, and said she doesnt want anything else for her birthday or christmas,she just wants to see him !!! l can't really say much as l must of been one the 'Bay City Rollers ' top ten fans heheehe.....So we spent yesterday looking for tickets and flights from here to Birmingham..very difficult in march as there are no flights from here..Will try to get it all done by today, so l can put all the details inside her birthday card ! Now on to my card .... Today , l have made this little card for my spanish neighbour. l have said that spanish people are not really into the 'card ' sending , but she expects it now, even though all she does is put it back into the envelope and then into a drawer !! hehe.. Evening everyone, We had such a lovely time in Andorra. We were delighted that the sunny , warm weather that we had arrived to Saturday turned to the the first snow fall of the year.By Monday we awoke and opned the curtains to find the mountain with snow, then by Tueday this is what we had !..It was so beautiful ! Evening everyone , l arrived back from Andorra last night feeling quite sad as l said goodbye to Sara,my daughter. She will be working there for the ski season.We went over to settle her in .We had a lovely time while there,and tons of snow !We went on saturday, which happened to be my birthday ! So we had a lovely dinner in a very nice restaurant. The lovely surprise l got, was when l arrived home and decided to check my mail and blog etc..l was so surprised to see that l had been picked out the hat for a 'Spot Prize ' over at Bah!Humbug!. l am absolutely delighted !and this really cheered me up ! Afternoon everyone, Been to Palma this morning with Sara, My daughter. We are starting to prepare the things she will need when she goes to work in Soldeu, Andorra for the ski season.She will be at a 5 star hotel on frontdesk .She is quite excited that she can get some skiing in on her days off. l will be going with her on Saturday , then l will return on Tuesday. There's not alot of snow there at the moment, so Soldeu is saved from my ventures on the 'Pistes'..That is.. till christmas !! hehe Anyway.. the card l am showing today is a card for little 'Bella' ( my son & his GF's Puppy, pic on my sidebar )l have added a little origami tree which l saw on Ann's blog from 'Just for Fun' details of which are on the post below this one... Its been a lovely weekend ! We had a friend of Sara's ( my daughter ) come to stay from saturday till this morning. She flew over from San Diego to spend a few days in Germany and then come over here to Mallorca. The weather wasn't up to much, but it didn't deter her from wanting to sightsee and try out the local cuisine! Didn't manage to do alot of crafting, but did get a few cards completed...On the card shown here,l have used a Sugar Nellie stamp called ' Santa's little helper ' and l used watercolour pencils.The Dp's are from K&CO ( swell Noel ) Card stock , ribbons , gems, corners all from my stash. Two types of gold mirri card were used for matting. This card is quite simple, but still very festive.. Very windy day here again, its so unsettled at moment..The summer here has now come to an end and all the hotels start to close and people start thinking towards the very quite winters that we have here.l can't complain as l have already booked to go to see my son and his GF who live in Birmingham, we are going for a week in December, so looking forward to that ! They have just sent me the pics of the puppy that they have bought, they pick her up next week, so l can't wait to be introduced to her whilst we are there.She is the black , mixed colour puppy, isn't she gorgeous !She is going to be thoroughly spoiled hehe...just as it should be !

Hello to everyone from a lovely sunny October day here in Puerto Pollensa ! The summer heat has finally finished and lovely crisp mornings are now the norm. We have had alot of rain this week too, much needed l add! This of course allowed for alot of crafting afternoons.... This morning the girls and l went for our 'Saturday Morning Tradition' of crusty, warm baguettes and Latte's in a wonderul little place close to the sea...well, onto business hehe.... Over at Bah!Humbug! , the theme this week is 'Vellum'. For this card l have used green card stock from my stash and wrapped the card in a sheet of A4 vellum. l secured it with DS tape behind the ribbon strip and the very festive , sparkly topper, that l have decoupaged, from Kanban.Silver bow, pins and sentiment are from my stash.Silver mirri card was used to mount the topper and sentiment. l can't believe its been a month since l last updated my blog,l am so sorry ! Hope everyone has been fine and in good health... We had a nice holiday but the temperatures this year in Spain have been very high.Its been the longest, hottest summer that l can remember..Had alot going on at home over the past few months too...Lots of decorating that l have now finally completed upstairs.Its been a huge job, changing bedrooms etc , which means all wardobes sorted out, nothing was left unturned !!l wished l had done it in the winter months,instead of now, but its all finished and,l must say that all the rooms look fabulous ! Next week l will start the makeover on the guest bathroom downstairs,that will be a re-tiling job on the floors and walls etc....wish me luck ! Hopefully this week l will upload some cards that l have made recently and start to get back into the challenges etc and more importantly, catching up on what everyone has been up to ! Morning all, Yesterday we had to put my lovely little dog, Chispa,to sleep.Her back legs went the night before and l sat up with her all night, praying that it was just stiff muscles or even a trapped nerve, but l think l knew deep down that it was more serious.In the morning when she tried to get up, the other leg had gone too.The vet said that Chispa's nervous system was failing and that she has had a fabulous life but it was now time to say goodbye....so we let her go, as we love her too much to see her suffer. She was nearly 17 and had never had a days illness in her life, thank God. This is the first morning without her and l am so overwhelmed with sadness,as we all are.Its never an easy time to lose a much loved pet, but today is my nieces birthday, Sara my daughter has her birthday and graduation this week too... We will be fine once we realise we did the right thing, but its just so hard at the moment... So , if l don't visit or comment for a few days, you know why.l will get back into the challenges as soon as l can , but for now l need to have some me time..Here is a pick of her still guarding the house and basking in the sun ! Beautiful morning here in sunny Mallorca ! l hope the weather stays good in England for the 2nd day of Wimbledon.Andy Murray's first match today, so l will be looking forward to that. Thoroughly enjoyed Federer's match yesterday..and also , well done to Spain on their win too, not exactly a great performance, but a win is a win l suppose ! Amanda has finished school now for the summer,over here they have 3 months hols ! Sara has another exam this morning so she will be off to Uni shortly.Marcos on the short list for a couple of jobs in the UK, although he is working at the moment ,translating. l have work this morning, but hoping to get some crating done later...This week over at Bah!Humbug! the theme is 'a child's christmas' All materials were taken from my stash box and the image is a 'Tilda' stamp..looks like she has asked Santa for lots of pressy's, judging by the size of the letter !! Good morning all, Another weekend here,time seems to be flying by...Its a beautiful morning here in Mallorca,so that means a nice walk into town is on the agenda ! The girls and l will have our Saturday morning ' Tradition ' of warm, crusty baguettes and coffee sitting outside a little coffee shop admiring the view ! Lifes little pleasures ! My plan for this afternoon is to start another James Patterson book,l have just read ' Cross Country ' l really enjoyed it. l will start on 'Swimsuit' next.l also need to make a few ATC's and a couple of birthday cards too, so a bit crafting is in order.Talking of crafting...Over at C.R.A.F.T the theme this week is Fathers day /mens cards .l have made a gift tag to match with the card.
